Attorney General (AG) Nandlall keeps getting away with a free pass hiding behind: (a) the soliloquy of his weekly programme where he amusingly argues with himself; and (b) the obliging interviews by his fawning PPP/C interviewers, without having anyone to challenge and expose in real time, his ignorance and propaganda.
Unfortunately for the AG, he got carried away with his razzle-dazzle, mouthing off that “these guys would not sit down with you and debate publicly. I am prepared to do that. Let us go on the TV. They would never do that because I would like to do that”. Characteristic of the AG, he claims that “they would never do that”, despite the records showing that I have been calling for a public debate with him and VP Jagdeo for a long time now, but they never could muster the backbone to do so.
That notwithstanding, I wish to now inform the AG that I call his bluff to have a public debate with him on the Oil Spill Bill, ASAP. I would also hope that his Bossman, Exxon Country Manager Routledge would join him in the debate.
I appeal to the media and public to pressure the AG into backing up his bravado fat talk calling for this debate. The time has come for him to put up or shut up! And time for the Guyanese people to see through the ignorance and propaganda propagated by this man.
Sincerely,
Dr. Vincent Adams
